NDB Replacement Project Successfully Implemented
In April, 2012, the Luxembourg Government replaced three of their five NDBs with Nautel Vector NDB Systems due to the old systems being obsolete – far beyond their normal life-cycle at 23 years – and a lack of technical support and spare parts.
“The new systems have a more modular design and are full solid state. This means a more logical architecture, less maintenance, remote monitoring and better spare part management… [they’ll] bring the advantage of modern monitoring, control and will change the maintenance in a more efficient way.”
